The Balance of State CoC is responsible for over $4M in housing, supportive services, performance/data, and coordinate assessment resources over a 44-county area in West Virginia. Part of the responsibility of a CoC is to provide oversight of both the fiscal and programmatic functions of agencies receiving Continuum of Care money.

Annually, the CoC staff monitors all of the 25+ CoC-funded programs in the Continuum of Care for fiscal and program compliance, as well as identifying areas where programs can improve through additional training and technical assistance.
