The review committee of five members met with 14 applicants for interviews on May 28th and May 29th, while also reviewing each individual application. Final application scores were taken from an average of all reviewer scores. This percentage score was averaged with the interview score to result in a final rating.
Final ranking and funding awards were based on average scores, regional need across the state, budget efficiency and shelter utilization.
Out of the total shelter funding available, Tier 1 ranking consists of 90% of the total funding available which was prioritized for renewal projects and the highest ranking new project. The remaining 10% of total available funding fell into Tier 2 for the lower ranking renewal projects and any remaining funding for additional new projects.
